Microtech believes in supporting the local community where ever possible. Some examples are:-
- We have an active apprenticeship scheme currently helping 3 young people to gain the experience and qualifications so essential to their careers.
- We help local schools by offering "Work Experience"
- In addition we have a number of people actively involved in helping young people in the community:

Every year they help 225,000 young people learn about business and the world of work in the classroom under the guidance of a network of 5,000 volunteers from 3,500 companies. Young Enterprise’s mission statement is “to inspire and equip young people to learn and succeed through enterprise. Its guiding principle is to do this through “learning by doing”
